CA-OFFNAT · Offering Natures

The Offering Nature taxonomy and the economic behavior each nature enables.

Configuration artifact

CA-OFFNAT defines the Offering Natures available to one organization. It is where the offering-nature taxonomy, its unit-type and lifecycle restrictions, and the embedded business-equation selection all come together.

How It Works

CA-OFFNAT configures the offering-nature taxonomy together with its unit-type restrictions and lifecycle restrictions. The business-equation archetype that drives offering and Purchase-contract economics is selected inside CA-OFFNAT as the embedded component CA-BUSEQU; it is not a separate configuration step.

Dependency role. CA-OFFNAT is always relevant (part of the active authoring set). Its prerequisites are CA-CUSNED and CA-UNITYP, both validated. It embeds CA-BUSEQU. It sits on a branch independent of CA-GTMACC — there is no edge between them in either direction.

Statements

  • CA-OFFNAT means Offering Natures.
  • CA-OFFNAT configures offering-nature taxonomy, unit-type restrictions, and lifecycle restrictions.
  • CA-OFFNAT embeds CA-BUSEQU as a semantic component, not a separate step.
  • CA-OFFNAT requires CA-CUSNED and CA-UNITYP validated.
  • CA-OFFNAT and CA-GTMACC are independent configuration branches.

Why It Matters

Offering Nature is the configuration that gives offerings their economic shape. It needs to know who the customers are and which unit types exist before it can constrain what may be offered, by whom, and at which lifecycle stage — which is why it sits downstream of both foundational artifacts.
