CA-BUSEQU · Business Equations
The business-equation component embedded in CA-OFFNAT that selects each Offering Nature's economic archetype.
Configuration component
CA-BUSEQU is the Business Equations component embedded inside CA-OFFNAT. Selecting the business-equation archetype for each Offering Nature happens as part of authoring CA-OFFNAT itself — there is no separate CA-BUSEQU step, prerequisite, or dependency-graph node.
How It Works
The business-equation archetype determines how an Offering Nature behaves economically — how revenue is recognized, how costs accrue, what triggers value movement. When an organization authors CA-OFFNAT, it chooses one archetype per Offering Nature; that choice is CA-BUSEQU. Its readiness is exactly the readiness of CA-OFFNAT, which requires CA-CUSNED and CA-UNITYP validated.
(Earlier drafts treated business-equation selection as its own standalone artifact in the dependency graph. That model is superseded by the embedded component above; CA-BUSEQU appears in the standard as a named meaning, not as a separate authoring workflow.)
Statements
- CA-BUSEQU means Business Equations.
- CA-BUSEQU selects the business-equation archetype used by an Offering Nature.
- CA-BUSEQU is embedded in CA-OFFNAT.
Why It Matters
The business equation is what makes an Offering Nature economically concrete. Keeping the choice embedded in CA-OFFNAT means the standard has one configuration unit per economic concern, not two coupled ones — and the dependency graph stays a graph of artifacts, not of artifact parts.
